NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Greetings Fellow Residents and Cottagers!
This year, our AGM will be virtual but we certainly hope to be able to get together in person in 2022! The meeting is for MEMBERS ONLY so please make sure your dues are up to date by June 20th in order to receive a link to the meeting.
Time & Date: June 22, 2021 (Tuesday), 7:30 p.m.
Municipal Councilor Bob Stone will be joining us at the meeting to discuss Short Term Rental Licensing and to answer any questions you may have. We will also be hearing from our lawyer Kevin Thompson on what our options are if we are not happy with the LPAT ruling on the Treasure Island development proposal.

Who We Are
The LWRA is an incorporated community group of and for the cottagers and permanent residents in the Lake Waseosa, Ripple Lake, Palette Lake and Jingo Lake areas. Membership includes both waterfront and back-lot property owners.
What We Do
- We organize events and opportunities for our members to interact socially.
- We promote plans for the general benefit and interests of the property owners in the area.
- We promote aquatic and shoreline stewardship via testing, advocacy, information sharing.
Our association is also a community voice on matters of concern to our members such as potential new developments.
Invitation
This Association is a member driven volunteer organization. We count on our annual dues from members to continue the work that we are doing. If you are a member, please continue to contribute yearly and if you are not yet a member, please join us. The membership dues are $40. per year and can be submitted through our treasurer at treasurer@lwra.net
